BUILDING AIDE (PreK-8th Grade)

Minimum Qualifications 

• Must have completed at least one of the following:
• 36 college credit hours
• Completed Missouri’s 20-hour online substitute training program 

 

Nice-to-Haves- Skills and qualities that are a plus but not necessarily a requirement

• Successful experience in an elementary or middle school setting
• Fluency in French, Mandarin, or Spanish 

 

Responsibilities

• Assignments vary by building needs.  
• Support lunch and recess periods by providing active supervision.
• Monitor student culture and safety building-wide.
• Oversee various areas of classroom instruction following guides provided by the classroom teacher.
• Lead whole class, small group, and individual learning.
• Collaborate with the entire K-8 team to promote higher levels of learning for all students.

 

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is competitive and ranges from $37,450 - $43,228 depending on experience. SLLIS also offers the following:

SLLIS has a multi-stage hiring process which includes a phone screening interview, an interview with our Talent Committee and a final interview with our administration team.
